Triplescan ALS

An original design for Aerofoundry's high-end UAS, the Triplescan ALS-500 are high-end implementations of our standard scanner technology in order to reduce acquisition and maintenance costs, increasing reliability and ruggedness.

Integration include three scanners, each with its own FPGA controller card, giving three simultaneous first and last reflexes.

One scanner is vertical and two are setup in a 20° angle to collect 3D data on vertical features (trees, power line towers) invisible for a vertical scanner.

The calibrated line scan camera overlaps with the vertical scanner. Laser 3D data is combined with the line scan camera image data in a single computer file.

Accuracy of 1-5cm, 3 scanners (20° + vertical), 30Hz max scan rate, 5 24KHz high speed pulses, or 120KHz total, scanning angle max 60°, and a range of 500m.
